The founding member & guiding light of Swastik Foundation Trust Avinash Phatak is a retired Civil Engineer and has joined the organization with a prospective of helping the poor. He is mainly working for the poor in rural and tribal areas.His vision is to play a formative role in the upliftment of society through educating under-privileged students. He continues to lead a role from the planning of school activities to their execution in school.
His commitment to do something different and to contribute to society propelled him into the social sector . Sandesh Shetye brings along a flair & passion to the various social causes that Swastik Foundation undertakes – through his experience in travel and tourism as well as social work of 10 years working voluntarily with NGOs, easy going attitude, man management skills & more. He say, “I want to give a social life to the unprivileged so that they have a satisfaction atleast towards the end of their life span.”
Swastik Foundation has laid a foundation of old age home for despised and old. It will give them support and bring them under one roof. Our organization has taken this step towards its aim and objectives. It is started in Asalde village, Dist-Sindhudurg, Konkan. It is an arrangement for 40 senior citizens.
On 18-11-17, Free Health Checkup was organized in Sawalagaon, Karjat with the help of L&T Healthcare.
The beneficiary count was 350. Come and join.
On 19-9-17, Free Health Checkup was organized in Mahim with the help of L&T Healthcare.
Free medicines were provided to the patients.
On 2017-06-17 ,School Kit Distribution was held on 17th June, 2017 in Madhyamik Shikshan Shala, Koloshi- Hadpid.
The children from the two villages, namely Koloshi and Hadpid study here.
They come from economically backward families; it is not always possible for them to buy new school bag, new books every year.
162 school kits were distributed to them with the help of Seva Sahayog.

While living in the society, man realizes his duties towards the society. Women, children, widow, senior citizens, despised people are altogether a part of our society.
While being in service, it is not always possible to show keen interest towards it.An individual is always trying to do good towards others to his extent.
It is not always possible to justify to all the needs and wants of the society. He tries to cater whatever is possible on his own behalf
This work to develop the society not only requires proper way but also well proposed directions to walk the desired way and reach the goal.
The neglected factors of our own society need to be brought under a single roof. But How? This question has always been popping-up the mind.
We educated ourselves in this social work field. That is how we got proper guidance and found our way towards Swastik Foundation.
Being a child from middleclass family, it is told that you need to have qualified education to get a good job, and a good job to look after your family.
